The driver is the longest and most powerful club of all clubs. It allows you to hit long distances from the tee.

There are different shaft flexes (shaft between the clubhead and the grip), loft (opening in degrees of the clubface) and clubhead sizes (in cubic centimetres).

How to choose a driver

In the specific case of the driver, the shaft will be made of graphite and is available in three families (id. for a steel shaft) from the stiffest to the softest: Stiff, Regular, Woman/Senior. We advise beginners and those with modest spin speeds to choose the regular and women's/senior shafts. For the more experienced and those with high swing speeds, the Stiff (or even X -Stiff ) shaft is perfectly suited.

With regard to loft, the tighter the loft, the lower the ball will go, but farther. On the other hand, the more open the loft, the higher the ball will go, and the less far it will travel. Find your loft and you'll have the perfect compromise between distance and trajectory control. Loft is adjustable by +/- 1 degree on all new drivers models.

Finally, the larger the clubhead, the larger the clubface. This impact surface is called the "sweetspot".
