With this 2nd generation CLK hybrids, Mizuno has launched a super all-rounder for all levels. A new, more aggressive MAS1C Maraging clubface and improved 'Amplified Wave Sole' technology for a better sounding, more aggressive hybrid club.

We still remember the Mizuno CLK hybrid series from last season. Due to its great commercial success, Mizuno has given the 2020 version a serious upgrade, making it an even better club. This is a very attractive club for many golfers as it makes it easier to attack the flag from a distance, high and far, without the ball rolling off the green too quickly.

The technology

The Japanese brand Mizuno has a seriously high-quality golf department that is making great strides in the innovation of its clubs. The already known 'Amplified Wave Sole' technology has been further perfected and enlarged in these CLK hybrids, and the flexible sole of the clubhead is tailored for maximum forgiveness. This results in even higher ball speeds and more height, meaning the ball rolls less after landing.

This is handy when approaching the flag. Most of the weight in the clubhead is placed lower and further forward for more length and height, while the forgiveness on less accurate strikes has made a significant leap forward. Important news is also the MAS1C Maraging clubface, a thin but very strong material that ensures more energy transfer and thus more club speed. The shape of the clubhead has also been adjusted for better aerodynamics and to instill more confidence when addressing the ball.
Thanks to the new Mizuno innovations, the club is suitable for a wide range of golfers with different swing speeds. This Mizuno CLK hybrid club 2020 perfectly fills the gap between fairway woods and long irons, and many golfers use them instead of their long irons. The shaft is shorter than that of a fairway wood, which creates much more playability and reduces the risk of mishits.

Convenient loft adjustability

What’s ideal in the Mizuno CLK's is the wide loft adjustability over a range of no less than 4 degrees. This allows you to set and adjust the launch angle to your preference, skill level, and desired ball flight. This loft setting can also be used to accurately position this hybrid in relation to the rest of your clubs to avoid distance gaps... super handy!

Standard version

These Mizuno CLK rescue clubs come standard with Fujikura Speeder Evolution HB or Mitsubishi Tensei CL Pro graphite shafts but can be fitted with the shaft of your choice upon request. The standard men's grip is the Z Cord 60 Round from GolfPride.
